“I’m too young.” “I’m too old.” “I’m not ready to be a mother.” “I don’t want any more kids.” “I have no support.” “Pregnancy will wreck my body.”
Our country slaughtered nearly 1,000,000 babies in 2014 alone. Our ongoing genocide claims lives every day, every month, every year in the name of human rights — in the name of women’s rights. Because these babies are connected to a mother via an umbilical cord, they have no right to live. What if we could see them and they weren’t hidden by layers of skin, fat, and muscle? Would our society still be so cruel and callous?
Instead of pushing teenagers into slaughtering their babies, maybe we would teach abstinence before marriage and fidelity after marriage. In the meantime, maybe we could support them and their offspring with loving arms and help them make that decision to either keep the baby or place for adoption.
I’m a man, so I’m treated as though I have no right to an opinion on the matter. “It’s the woman’s body.” But, the woman isn’t killing herself. It’s not her body that is ripped limb from limb, or poisoned, or crushed and cut into pieces. It’s the innocent and defenseless life and body of her baby that must endure this unspeakable cruelty.
Yes, the baby’s location is inside the uterus, and yes the umbilical cord is attached. So what? The baby is still alive and is still a human being.
Abortion proponents, you are advocating for the cruel killing of innocent, vulnerable human beings and are leading thousands to a decision that will haunt them for the rest of their lives.
Christ is good. He loves the little children. He wants us to nurture them.
Let them live.
He wants us to be a moral people who are chaste and true. If we would keep His commandments we wouldn’t have unwed mothers in the first place, but fornication is no excuse to slaughter the innocent to avoid consequences. And we, as a nation, bring ourselves under condemnation for our legitimizing and legalization of the merciless slaughter of His most precious children.
We must love and support the unwed mothers. We must love, welcome, and nurture their babies. We must put a stop to America’s cruel and terrifying butchery.
